Head of Corporate Services

The Head of Corporate Services is a critical senior leadership role that is accountable for ensuring that the work of our corporate service effectively supports the Force to meet its obligations contained in the three year strategic plan, long term financial plan and police and crime commissioner’s crime plan.

The post holder will ensure that our corporate service provides transformational leadership to corporate planning and risk, organisational governance, estates planning, communications and shaping the delivery of effective and efficient policing services to meet financial constraints and the Force strategic policing priorities of prevent, protect and intervene.

The Head of Corporate Services will ensure that the Force constantly evolves and improves the service to our communities and our approaches to partnership working by the development and active oversight of transformational change that delivers innovation and effectiveness to the delivery of policing services; this will involve leading the development of evidence based policing, our approach to the peel inspection programme, our role in ensuring data quality and how we will shape the performance framework for the Force in a way that ensures a clear focus on achieving quality outcomes for the communities we serve.
