If you have an excellent attendance/disciplinary record, are high performing and are looking for a new challenge, then this could be the place for you. You must have successfully completed your probationary period with your current force before submitting your application for either a uniform or detective role and have in place your most up to date Performance Development Review (PDR).

You will retain your

· Previous service and current levels of pay (excluding force specific benefits i.e. London Weighting)
· Annual leave entitlement, as long as there is no break in service
· Your current pension arrangements

Uniform Constable

We are looking for the highest quality officers to join our ranks. Opportunities are now open for experienced police constables seeking to join Cleveland Police.

Our vacancies are force-wide and you will be required to work within the business sectors requiring the greatest need – so be prepared to be flexible. You should also have a full driving licence.

Detective Constable

As a detective constable working in a Command, you will take responsibility for the whole investigation process, from initial report stage, planning the investigation strategy to court hearing and beyond.

Our vacancies are force-wide and you will be required to work within the business sectors requiring the greatest need – so be prepared to be flexible.

To be successful you must have completed the initial Crime Investigators Development Programme (ICIDP) or equivalent (CID Foundation Course) and be accredited investigators at PIP level 2. You should also have a full driving licence.
