Applications are invited for the role of Firearms Enquiry Field Officer. The successful applicant will:  

Provide process support to the Firearms Licensing Unit through conducting visits to registered firearms licence holders to ensure their continued suitability.      
Will also conduct ‘Land Checks’ in regards to its suitability for the use of firearms and conduct regular visits to Firearms Clubs and registered Firearms Dealers.      
Provide advice to the Public, Police Officers and other interested parties in relation to the safe storage and general security of firearms, ammunition and explosives.         
Provide assistance to the Unit by which applicants can be licensed and general public safety arising from the use of firearms and explosives within the Cleveland area.
