Based at Multi-agency Children’s Hub, Middlesbrough (MACH)
Permanent – Full Time – 37 Hours per week

 

Applications are invited for the role of Children’s Safeguarding Liaison Officer within the Crime & Justice Command, based at the Multi-agency Children’s Hub, Middlesbrough.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that safeguarding information on domestic abuse incidents is transmitted to education facilities and attached health provision (school nurses/ health visiting teams) in the Cleveland area.

They will be required to maintain and review up to date records of all educational facilities and attached health provision and to interrogate appropriate police systems (IRIS/ NICHE) on an ongoing basis to identify, capture and review domestic abuse incidents.

 

The successful applicant will be required to have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and previous experience of working in a safeguarding environment or similar would be desirable.
