Safeguarding Advisor

Applications are invited for the role of Safeguarding Officer, based within the Protecting Vulnerable People department.

 

The successful post holder will be responsible for a number of areas including:

 

·        Servicing and  attending multi agency meetings, with a focus on information sharing and safeguarding processes between police and partners

·        Carrying out research and analysis to ensure that relevant information and intelligence is shared within Cleveland Police and partner agencies so there is a joint understanding of immediate and ongoing risks to children, families and communities.

·        Day to day risk assessment of information sharing procedures

 

You will have experience of working with partner agencies, and an understanding of risk management and safeguarding.  The ability to be able to present at meetings is essential, as well as having excellent verbal and written communications skills.  A high level of integrity is vital due to the confidentially and sensitive nature of the information which will be dealt with.
